4 Day Customized Safari

Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara

Day 1: After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park, with box lunch. Explore the park till late evening, dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Day 2: Early morning game drive, at around 8:00 am drive back to the Lodge/Camp for breakfast and proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Day 3: Early breakfast then descend to the crater floor with box lunch (or drive back to the Lodge/camp for hot lunch). Late afternoon proceed to Lake Manyara, dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Day 4: After breakfast game drive in Lake Manyara National Park (it`s about ten to fifteen minutes drive to this amazing small park; for birds watcher it’s the home of more than 356 birds species). Late afternoon drive back to Arusha.

5 Day Safari

Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro

Day 1: Pick up from the airport; transfer to Arumeru River Lodge/ Impala Hotel

Day 2: Departure from Arusha to Lake Manyara N.P. Game drive, including box lunch, in Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner & overnight at lodge/camp.

Day 3: Early departure to Serengeti N.P. Game drive with box lunch en route. Dinner & overnight in lodge/camp at Serengeti.

Day 4: After breakfast, game drive in Serengeti with box lunch or lunch at your lodge/camp. Departure after lunch with game drive en route, onward to the Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner & overnight at lodge/camp near the Crater.

Day 5: An early descent in the crater for game drive with box lunch; in the afternoon drive back to Arusha.

7 Day Basic Safari

Serengeti, Oldavai Gorge, Ngorongoro, (Lake Manyara)

Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania from Nairobi (early morning flight). Meet and greet our representative after clearing customs and immigration at Kilimanjaro International Airport and depart for Lake Manyara/Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch. Afternoon game drive followed by check-in at your lodge with time to freshen up before dinner. Overnight Migunga Tented Camp.

Days 2/3/4: Depart for Serengeti National park with picnic lunch to enjoy along the way. Along the way you have the option to stop at Ol’duvai Gorge to visit the Leakey museum and archeological site. For this and the next two days, you’ll have morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. Overnight for three nights at Ndutu Safari Lodge or Lobo Wildlife Lodge (dependent on time of year).

Days 5/6: Today you’ll depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater. Besides two days of game drives on the Crater floor, you may also enjoy a guided hike along the crater rim. Overnight for two nights at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Farm House.

Day 7: After a leisurely breakfast, return to Arusha in time for lunch and last minute shopping before your departing flight (dependent on time of departure).

7 Day Tanzania Explorer

Lake Manyara, Serengeti, & Ngorongoro

Day 1: Meet you upon arrival at the airport and drive to Lake Manyara for afternoon game drive; dinner and overnight at Lodge /Camp

Day 2 Morning game drive at the park; lunch then cultural tour in the town of Mto wa mbu and the rift valley; dinner and overnight at Lodge/ Camp

Day 3: Breakfast then depart for Serengeti (game drive en route with box lunch); dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp

Day 4 : Full day game drive in Serengeti; all meals and overnight at the Lodge /camp

Day 5: Morning game drive then mid morning departure for Ngorongoro. Arrive at the Lodge/camp on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater for diner and overnight.

Day 6: Depart for Ngorongoro Crater tour with box lunch; later ascend for dinner and overnight at the Lodge /camp on the rim of the Crater.

Day 7: Depart after breakfast and drive back to Arusha for lunch then after transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight back home or connection flight to another destination in Tanzania.

8 Day Southern Tanzania Safari and Beach

Selous and Zanzibar

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha transfer to the hotel for overnight at Impala Hotel/Arumeru Lodge.

Day 2-5: After breakfast check out and you will be transferred to the air strip for scheduled flight on Coastal Air to Selous Game Reserve for 3 nights; dinner and overnight lodge/camp.

Day 5-8: After morning game drive, check out and you will be transferred to the air strip for scheduled flight on Coastal Air to Zanzibar via Dar es Salaam; our representative will pick you and transfer you to Tembo hotel (in Stone Town). For your 3 nights, you will have options of staying at Stone Town for cultural activities or being transferred to the beach on the North or East coast. On day 8 our representative will come for pick up and transfer you at the airport for your connecting flights.

8 Day Safari

with Crater Highlands Trek

Day 1: ARUSHA: Arrive in Tanzania, pick up from the airport with transfer to the Arumeru River Lodge/ Impala Hotel.

Day 2: NGORONGORO CRATER: After breakfast, drive from Arusha and then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a crater tour. The Crater is an 100 square mile natural caldera where you may see rhinos, elephants, lions, as well as large herds of zebra and wildebeest, etc. A box lunch will be taken in the Crater before returning for your dinner and overnight at the rim of the Crater, lodge/camp.

Day 3: NGORONGORO CRATER TO OLMOTI CRATER: Descend into the Crater for a second day game drive. Then exit the Crater and drive to Nainokanoka. Take an afternoon trek at Olmoti, which takes you through the rain-forested slopes of Olmoti Crater to the rim viewpoint, the trek winds down to the grassy plains of the crater floor and to Mungwe Falls, named after the distinctive white flourish of the Colobus Monkey tail. Day 2: Departure to Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast. Game drive including box lunch in the crater; dinner & overnight in lodge/campsite at the edge of the Crater Rim.

Days 3- 5: Early departure (after breakfast) to Serengeti N.P. Game drive en route. Dinner & overnight in Serengeti Serena/Campsite. Optional: Experience a Serengeti balloon safari during one these days (not included in the price).

Day 6: Early morning game drive around the Serengeti; drive in the afternoon to Lake Manyara; overnight at lodge/campsite.

Day 7: Full day game drive in Lake Manyara N.P. (this park is famous for the tree climbing lions); dinner and overnight at same lodge/ campsite.

Day 8: After breakfast you have the option of cultural activities at the small town of Mto Wa Mbu or bike safari on the Great Rift Valley; late afternoon drive back to Arusha; overnight at Impala Hotel or direct transfer to airport.

10 Day Basic Safari

Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Arusha National Park

ITINERARY (10 Days/9 Nights)

Includes: Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater, Serengeti National Park, and Arusha National Park.

Day 1: Arrive Arusha (via Nairobi or Kilimanjaro International) Transfer to lodge for lunch, dinner, overnight (depending on arrival). Meet and greet representative and safari briefing upon arrival or the following morning before departing to Tarangire.

Day 2: After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. During the dry season from July to November, animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. Lunch and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Game drive out of Tarangire with a picnic lunch and stop at Lake Manyara National Park. If lucky, we may see the Manyara tree climbing lions. Elephants, hippos, giraffe, buffalo and other plains animals are present at Manyara. You'll also see the famous jungle where early Tarzan movies were filmed. Birdlife in Manyara is also very impressive. Picnic lunch in the park and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House.

10 Day Classic Safari

Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti

Day 1: ARUSHA Upon arrival into Kilimanjaro International Airport and after clearing customs and immigration, you will be met by a Tupo Africa Safaris representative and transferred to Arumeru River Lodge. This beautiful small lodge is located about 25 km from Arusha. This magnificent lodge, surrounded by a coffee farm and set upon a hilltop with lush gardens, offers breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru. Overnight – Arumeru River Lodge

Day 2: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK After breakfast you will be met by your private safari guide and depart for Arusha National Park for your first game drive. Set between the slopes of Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro this small park is one of Tanzania’s hidden gems and one of the few places where you will have a good chance to see the rare Black & White Colobus monkeys, which inhabit the Ngurdoto Forest. The parks contains a series of shimmering alkaline lakes, which attract large flocks of flamingos and a variety of birds, along with elephant, buffalo, zebra, gazelle, warthog, hippo and giraffes. Overnight – Arumeru River Lodge.

Day 1: Pick up from the Airport; transfer to Impala hotel.

Day 2: Departure from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park. Game drive includes box lunch in Lake Manyara N.P. Dinner & overnight at Manyara Serena hotel.

Day 3: Early breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater with box lunch included. Day ends with late afternoon drive back to Bougainvillea Lodge in Karatu.

Day 4-5: After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park; two days of game drives; Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Early morning breakfast; drive the base of Mt Kilimanjaro for a two hour hike; Dinner and overnight at Impala hotel.

Day 7-9: After breakfast drive to Arusha Airport to catch your domestic flight to Zanzibar. Various options including cultural activities in Stone Town; just beach holiday; or combination of both. (Example: Stay in Stone Town for the spice tour and then transfer by our driver to the east coast Cristal Resort (in the town of Paje). Diving can be arranged from the east coast. )

Day 10: Our driver will transfer you from the coast to the airport for your flight back home.

Day 7: After breakfast drive to Lake Eyasi; lunch at Kisimangeda Tented Lodge. Afternoon enjoy a cultural visit to the Hadzabe tribe; overnight at Kisimangeda Tented Camp.

Day 8: Early morning visit with the Hadzabe tribe; then back to the lodge/camp for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Tarangire N.P.; overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 9: Full day game drive at Tarangire N.P. with box lunch; dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 10: After breakfast drive to Arusha with your morning free to shop. Later transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

Day 3-5: Early breakfast drive to Serengeti N.P. Overnight at Seronera camp site. All day game drives days 4-5. Optional: A hot air balloon safari can be arranged in the park per person $599.

Day 6: After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro conservation area; dinner and overnight at Simba camp/ Rhino lodge.

Day 7: Early morning breakfast then descend to the crater floor with lunch box. Late afternoon ascend out of the Crater and drive to Lake Eyasi for cultural visit to the local bushmans tribe. Overnight at Kisimangeda campsite .

Day 8-9: Two days of activities with the local bushman including: hunting, bow and arrow making, and visiting the local onion farms.

Day10-13: After breakfast drive to Arusha and catch your domestic flight to Zanzibar. Our driver will transfer you to the Cristal Resort on the east coast of Paje. Full beach days 11-13.

Day 14: Our driver will pick you up from your resort with transfer to the airport where you will connect to your flight home.
