We offer custom safaris, beach holidays, cultural and adventure tours in Tanzania, Kenya, and other regions of East Africa. Tupo means “we are” in Swahili (local Tanzanian language) and Tupo Africa Safaris is proud to be based out of Arusha, Tanzania in East Africa.
Deo Kessy and Beth Hamilton-Kessy own and operate Tupo Africa Safaris Co. Deo is a local Tanzanian with a decade of experience as a safari guide. Beth is the general manager and is originally from the USA. Deo has been leading safaris for tourists from the United States, Europe, Asia and other places around the world.

We run all of our own trips
Many companies that offer a huge number of trips contract out with other companies to run the trips where quality/personalized services cannot be guaranteed. We limit the number of different trips we run specifically so that each trip can be of the highest world-class quality.

Tupo Africa Safaris Co. employs the best guides in the business. Our guides are experienced, informative, professional, safe, fun, and enthusiastic. All of our guides speak English very well.
Vehicles & equipment
We provide quality safari adapted 4 wheel drive vehicles with a window seat for each passenger. Pop up roof hatches on these vehicles facilitate an unobstructed open-top viewing for the photographers. We have quality tents and other camping equipment for those clients either choosing a camping safari or mountain climbing.
Food
We believe that eating delicious and healthy meals is an important part of a trip adventure. We have wonderful menus that provide a bounty of fresh food. When appropriate, we also offer some of the local delicacies and flavors. We always have meals that are well balanced and include vegetarian options.
